Hey Shannyn, Your slide show blog was really good. I liked it a lot because it was easy to follow with the bullet points of your main ideas. I also liked that you put the definition of both summary and analysis, I did the same thing in my post. I did it because I wanted to be able to analyze the definition of analysis. Ha. Another thing I liked about your blog is that you included other types of literary analysis, and also shared with us which is your favorite. I'm not much of a history person, but I didn't even know there was a category of Historicism Analysis. I think my favorite part of your slide show was in your last slide you stated, "This too is a detailed description of how the story was put together but in the words of the reader who has now turned into the writer." I've never thought about analyzing like that. You made this task seem less like a job and more like a fun experience with that comment. Thanks! -Valerie
I really enjoyed you slide presentation. I liked how you broke down independently summary and analysis. It was easy to follow all of the bullets and you gave quite a bit of evidence that you know what you are talking about, it was helpful. I also likes how you put your own personal touches on the presentation. I am not a fan of literary analysis or any type for that matter. The thing that I liked the most is that you brought things to my attention that I will pay more attention to as I do my assignments for this class, and my humanities class. Thank you so much!
I think that you hit the nail on the head with your presentation. Your presentation was very clear, and very well done I might add. i never really considered the difference between analysis and summary till this assignment. Now that this has been brought to my attention, I think that it will help me greatly in the future. Especially when I have to compare medical type research.
Your presentation was well done. I like the different ideas I am seeing people do and this I had not seen before. I liked how you added different ways of using summary and analysis not only in literature but different fields as well.
I really liked your slideshow. It was very easy to read and understand. It amazes me how adept at computer programs like powerpoint and videos everyone in this class is and I am not. I am definately going to have to learn more than english this semester. Jennifer Walker
Wow, this is a really good presentation. You set it up in a way that was very organized. I like that you gave an example of a summary (to kill a mockingbird). Way to raise the bar for the rest of us when it comes to the blog post assignments.
